At The ASB Stadium Folkdance Festival

Firstly, at the folkdance festival lots of schools joined together to dance ‘Brown Girl in the Ring’. In one of the dances, the children held hands in a circle and one girl was in the middle. She ran around the circle. Then she did an exercise. She had to choose someone to take her place.

The clowns, dragon and a bird entertained the children. They performed a funny act. The children thought it was pretty cool.

The children repeated some more dances so it was a cool day for Glenbrae School. The children would like to say ‘‘thank you’’ to Miss Elia.

At the end of the Folkdance Festival the children were tired and exhausted. Their legs and feet were sore and aching.

Peter And The Wolf

Once upon a time there was a boy

called Peter. He lived in a little

cottage near a forest.

Peter went outside to play with his

animal friends.

A big gray wolf ran close and then

swallowed the duck.

Along came some soldiers and they

took the wolf to the zoo.

Peter And The Wolf

There was a boy named Peter. Peter lived in a cottage house.

In the morning Peter walked out in to the meadow. He left the gate opened. His friend the duck wanted a swim. So while she was in the pond the duck saw a wolf. The duck and the cat scrambled.

No matter how fast the duck ran the wolf still caught her. Then he ate her.

At a later time Peter trapped the wolf with a rope. But the hunters came.

“Hunters stop shooting with your riffle. I’ve already trapped the wolf,’’ said Peter, “now I will take the wolf to the zoo’’.

They lived happily ever after because they were safe.

Peter And The Wolf

In a galaxy far, far away there lived a boy named Peter. He lived in a cottage on a dessert road. He lived with his Dad. He had three friends named Tweety the bird, a cat named Thunder and a duck named Lightning.
Early one morning Peter went into the dessert road to play with his friends. Peter’s Dad came out of the house. He was angry because Peter had gone on to the road!!!
“What if a wolf had come down the road,” said Anakin his Dad. Soon after Peter had gone inside a hungry wolf did come down the road. The duck ran away but the wolf caught the duck.
Then Peter’s Dad’s master Obi-Wan-Konobi came. Peter grabbed his rope. He caught the wolf. The two men, Anakin and Obi-wan-Konobi pulled their light sabers and followed Peter. They took the wolf to the zoo.
They lived happily ever after because the road was safe to play on again.

Peter And The Wolf

In a galaxy far, far away amongst the stars lived a big boy called Peter. He lived in a cottage near the forest.

Peter wanted to play with his friends. Then a big grey wolf came out.

Next the wolf ate the duck alive. Peter tried to catch the wolf with a rope. Peter told the bird to fly around the wolf’s nose so that he could catch his tail. Peter also wanted to save the bird.

The more the wolf jumped the tighter the rope became.

Everyone was screaming loudly and they were frightened.

“Don’t shoot,” Peter said to the hunters, “you can hear the duck quacking in the wolf’s stomach. Let’s take him to the zoo.”

Peter was happy he saved the bird. Then his dad was happy and excited.

In the end they lived happily ever after.

Peter And The Wolf

There once was a little boy called Peter. He lived with his Grandfather in a small cottage. One early morning Peter went to the meadow to play with his friends. Then he saw a big hungry wolf. Next he ate the duck alive. He tried to eat the bird but Peter saved the bird by catching the wolf with the rope.

When Peter caught the wolf, the bird was flying around his nose. Then Peter said to the hunters “don’t shoot. I’ve already caught the wolf. Now I just need to take this wolf back to the zoo.”

At last Peter and the hunters took the wolf back to the zoo and they lived happily ever after, because the meadow was a safe place to play in.
